Municipal Projects

The Town of Newington hired Solid Roots to build an addition on their existing fire station to create an area to store and decontaminate the fire fighting gear. Work involved excavation, foundation, frame through finish. The Decontamination room was finished with FRP panels and a negative air HVAC system.

This was one of those projects not many people will see, but those who do will appreciate it. We were hired for this complex project to construct catwalks throughout the attic space utilizing light gauge metal framing and steel grates. 

This project involved renovating the exterior of the Town Hall and Police Station. Work involved removal of existing and Installation of all new doors and siding

The Old Town Hall had been vacant for years and gutted to the studs. We were hired to renovate this under utilized space and construct 3 new offices, add on to the building and construct a kitchenette and renovate 2 restrooms

The City of Rochester hired Solid Roots to renovate the first floor restrooms in their community center. From floor to ceiling tile and poured epoxy floors, it was an incredible transformation

This was a design build project we were hired for. The Town was looking to upgrade their recreation departments gymnasium which had been built back in the 1970's and was no longer in compliance with fire codes. Working with the Town and our architect we brought the building into compliance and gave it a new modern look
